The Sun Safe System Vault is the first vented safe to be certified to LPS1214 Security Category 2 (equivalent to SEAP Class 3), a standard recognized by all major Insurance companies and the public sector. Certification ensures products are not only tested, but are continually audited by the LPCB to meet their exacting standards.

Constructed from steel, this vented security vault provides not only protection, but enables computer equipment to be stored and operated at the correct working temperature. Clients have the additional re-assurance that this is the only vault to have successfully undergone ventilation tests by Sun Microsystems Ltd and been approved.

Designed in conjunction with Sun Microsystems, most of the server safes can be built up around existing servers. This ensures that any down time is kept to a minimum. An added advantage is that these safes can be installed in a variety of locations as they are assembled on site.

Construction: 3mm thick steel sides and 4mm thick steel box section, with no visible fixings.

Doors & Grid Sections: Ventilated top, bottom and door sections are manufactured from 5mm x 25mm thick steel grids. The front and rear doors have approximately 60% free airspace and include heavy duty hinges and integral dog bolts.

Locking: There are two or three deadlocks on each door operated by Mul-T-Lock® Interactive™ cylinders. They can be keyed alike or individually.

Finish: Finished in a fine textured polyester powder coat in mid grey and purple (RAL No. 7024 & RAL No. 4005).

Delivery & Installation: Standard Sun Safes are normally available within - 4 weeks from receipt of order and are assembled on-site by a qualified installation team
