Connexions
is a modular cage suite, suitable for security and demarcation
within an office, co-location facility or other environment where
restricted access is required. It is commonly used for managing,
organising and protecting IT equipment and network cabling and
provides a high security alternative to a cabinet.
Connexions
unique design ensures quick and easy installation. It is constructed
from a series of panels and posts which are combined together
to create a secure area of almost any shape or size. Fully demountable,
changes to your business requirements can be accommodated easily
by repositioning, enlarging or reducing. This can be completed
by your own staff or by one of our installation engineers.
Members of our team are also available to offer personal advice
on the design and layout of your Connexions Suite, to maximise
the available space.

from 1.5mm thick steel, Connexions has standard heights of 2.4m,
2.7m and 3m. |
Connexions
is stylishly finished. A square pattern design and smooth
black and grey finish, ensure it will fit well with most
decor. Other hole patterns and colours are available by
special order.

Panels
are punched to
leave approximately 53% free space allowing air to circulate
freely. |

A
high security door is accessed with an authorised key, with
standard widths of 900mm, 1200mm, 1800mm, or 2400mm. Access
control options can also be incorporated which record when the
lock is activated, by whom and for how long the door was open. |
| Connexions
panels can be secured either 40mm off the ground to improve
airflow and access to floor tiles, or floor fixed for added
security. |
As
Connexions is a fully integrated system, inside additional
space means cables can be accessed and managed easier. Double
Panduit® and Ladder Bracing provide yet more storage
space for cable management, making it easier when trouble
shooting, to access equipment, therefore reducing downtime
and money.

Sturdy
19” steel racks, able to hold up to 500kg each are secured
to the connexions frame by Ladder Bracing, providing a much
more stable structure than cabinets. |

45U Racks
IT
equipment and network cables are stored on 19” 45U two
pillar racks with shelving installed at suitable heights.
They are secured to Connexions via Ladder Bracing. Manufactured
from steel, these racks are a robust and a cost effective
alternative to cabinets. Each pair of 10” steel shelves
are able to hold up to 100kg, making this system ideal for
housing heavy equipment.

The steel two pillar racks are tied to the Connexions frame
by Ladder Bracing, providing a structure that is more stable
than traditional cabinets, as well as providing overhead cable
trays. |

Cable
Management
Connexions caging and racking is designed to work with a full
range of Panduit cable management options. Much more cable management
space can be provided with the Connexions system.® |

Under-
Floor Barriers
Preventing unauthorised access to equipment by way of the floor
tiles is made simple with Under-Floor Barriers. Made from steel,
they are positioned in the floor cavity below the cage walling
and secured to the concrete floor. |
Space
Efficiency - Racks V Cabinets
The racks are designed to stand within the traditional floor tile
dimensions of 600mm x 600mm. In doing so, extra space is available
for additional racks. In an area where 15 cabinets would be placed,
25 racks with the same capacity can be placed.
