Brief: To provide a modular flexible desk system to accommodate 9 x 21” CRT monitors, 2 printers, a mix of shelf and rack mounted hardware – in underdesk and top modules plus some spare capacity. Also it was to allow for expansion or reconfiguration at some future date.

The proposal was based on our ‘Kontrol System’. This is a modular system that has standard 1, 2, 3 or 4 bay modules plus corners (small and large) with lower rear monitor platforms to facilitate visual access over the units to display walls, etc. Inserts are added to take the level up to desk surface for hardware other than monitors. The 19” top pods can be placed in any position – as can the underdesk vented pedestals. The rear cable trays and leg cavities accommodate a large volume of cables.
